The charred wood and greenery create such a calm, grounded atmosphere. That Zen feeling really comes through, especially with the tile-like squares breaking up the walls and the greenery growing right out of them.

It reminds me of a painting I found on vacation in Montreal, at L'Original art gallery. Tall, slender pine trees, dark canopies against a soft, muted background. I bought it on instinct, no plan for where it would go.

I finally gave it a home when I renovated my living room, and it fits in a way I didn't expect. Same quiet, natural stillness as what you've built here, just a different kind of design process. Yours was intentional from the first sketch; mine found its place years later. Funny how both end up landing in the same spot. (picture attached)
