I’ve been using OpenCutList actively in my cabinetry projects, and I truly appreciate the plugin. However, I’ve noticed one major gap in workflow: after generating cutting diagrams, I still have to manually extract dimensions, transfer them into spreadsheets, and then group panels by size (e.g. 120×320 : 3 pcs, 777×447 : 2 pcs).
This process is redundant and prone to human error. My request: Could OpenCutList include a built-in feature to automatically group identical panel dimensions and count quantities directly inside the plugin export (Parts List / Summary)?
Grouping and quantifying panels by size is precisely what the cutting machine needs — it’s the most vital piece of information for production, as indicated in the attachment below. Having this natively in OCL would remove a critical pain point and make the plugin even more powerful.

Hi,
This is already possible. Navigate to the Display Tab of the selected Type of Cutting Diagram and select the option Group Similar Panels. This will group all panels having the same parts and cuts. Caveat: if you use instance properties in the Formula just above, grouping may be disabled.

You have an option made for this purpose : "group simlar parts".
Note : you'll have to apply a "solid wood", "sheet goods" or "dimensional" material to the parts.
